BestPoolGear is an independent, Australia-focused resource for pool owners — buying guides, how-to advice, and honest reviews of pool cleaners, pumps, filters, heaters and more.
Why We Started This
Most pool advice online is either written for the US market (wrong products, wrong prices, wrong climate) or padded out by sites that have never actually touched the equipment they’re recommending. We wanted an Australian-first resource that names real downsides, real AU prices, and real state-based rules — not just another listicle.
How We Research
Every guide starts from what Australians are actually asking and comparing. Where we can, we test equipment hands-on and say so; where a recommendation is research-based rather than hands-on, we say that too. Our safety and compliance content cites Australian authorities — Royal Life Saving Australia, AS 1926 pool safety standards, and the relevant state regulator — rather than generic advice that doesn’t hold up state-by-state.
Who’s Behind BestPoolGear
[Placeholder — replace with a named author bio and real credentials before launch, e.g. pool ownership experience, trade background, or industry experience. A named, credentialed author is one of the strongest trust signals a review site can have.]
